Portal Axles for the Ford Bronco
Gain true hub-level clearance, improve big-tire drivability, and add wheel-level gear reduction with the Turn Offroad portal system for 2021–2026 Ford Broncos.

Clearance Where It Actually Matters
Turn Offroad's portal system is designed for sixth-generation Ford Broncos that need more axle clearance and larger-tire capability without relying only on suspension height.
Key Features
- 4.75 inches of additional hub-level ground clearance.
- 11 percent portal gear reduction for larger-tire drivability.
- Four-gear portal design engineered to distribute load.
- CNC-machined 7075 aluminum housings and hardened steel gears.
- Complete system includes axle shafts, extensions, specialty tools, and required components.
Clearance Where It Matters
Portal axles move the wheel hub below the axle centerline. That creates real clearance beneath the axle instead of simply lifting the body higher with suspension alone.
The result is more room for rocks, ruts, ledges, and trail obstacles while maintaining a lower overall suspension height than a comparable suspension-only approach.
Gear Reduction and Drivetrain Protection
Portals move torque multiplication to the wheel. That helps compensate for oversized tires and can reduce the additional load those tires place on upstream drivetrain components.
OEM Ratios Stay in Place
The portal reduction happens after the factory drivetrain gearing.
Torque Multiplies at the Wheel
Mechanical advantage is added at the final stage before power reaches the tire.
Better Big-Tire Drivability
The 11 percent reduction helps counteract the effective gearing change created by larger tires.
Reduced Upstream Stress
Wheel-level reduction can ease the demand placed on components farther up the drivetrain.
More Clearance. Bigger Tire Capability. Real Drivability.
This is not just another lift. The portal system changes ground clearance and effective gearing together, giving serious off-road builds a different path to capability.
Built to Drive Right. Built to Hold Up.
Turn Offroad engineered the portal system around load distribution, premium materials, lubrication, braking, and long-term serviceability.
